Performances

ALOHA's load balancing capabilities offloads your servers and then empowers your Web servers farm to its full capacity.

The appliance model can easily sustain up to 12000 hits/s while keeping its full capacity to absorb temporary peaks.

Should you need more power for your very high trafic sites, the software appliance model (provided on IDE Disk On Module) may be plugged into a high performing server (dual/quad opteron, bi Xeon) to easily sustain up to 20-30000 hits/s.

Reliability & High Availability

Each server in your cluster is permanently checked for availibility by the embedded healthcheck process, allowing the ALOHA to immediately redirect visitors connections in case of a faulty server.

The HAProxy load balancer software from which we build the ALOHA is known for an extrem reliability. As a clue, some HAProxy actually deployed in front of very high trafic servers are known to run for 3 full years without any disruption.

Moreover, every one knows that a system reliability may be highly impacted by its security; from this point of view, no vulnerability had never been discovered during the last 4 years.

Security

The ALOHA embbeds many useful functionnalities such as protocole validation, requests and headers filtering or information leakage blocking.

These functions are highly configurable to allow you an easy enforcement of the security accesses to your applications.

Scalability

The ALOHA native mode of operation allows you to face without any constraint, any sudden or progressive increase in your number of connections.

In this case, you just have to add an ALOHA in front of your servers. This can be done very quickly whithout having to stop any of your services.

The ALOHA includes a full log management functionnality (timers, sessions state, cookies,...) giving a fast and easy way to manage your activity or your security. Complementary, keeping sessions traces becomes very easy allowing you to match any legal need of log archiving.
