As a software appliance, the ALOHA Load Balancer software is embedded on SSD (Solid State Disk) memory – compatible with most commercial servers – which gives companies the ability to select the hardware platform that will house the load balancer.

ALOHA on SSD provides all the layer 4 (network) and 7 (application) load balancing features available on 1U or 2U hardware appliances. Processing performance depends on the hardware platform that supports the ALOHA solution.

ALOHA on SSD can be adapted to major commercial hardware platforms (including Dell, IBM, NEC, HP, SuperMicro and Tyan) so companies, hosting providers and datacenters, which have a master contract with a manufacturer, do not have to integrate heterogeneous hardware into their existing environment.
